greetd launches it, Hyprland does not run, the shell's whole surface tree
composites on it. Points at the session record in the viewtop repo rather
than restating it here.
Steps 1-2 of the build order are done and step 3 is half done; the live
gap list lives with the code.
viewtop at 458a354. Records the touch fork (provenance from the event
source; the agent reaches the seat but never the evidence stream) and
marks lanes 1 and 2 done — the Smithay frontend and the session-lock
server both landed.
Adds the resume steps for KMS on device: what it will actually show
(clients on black — shell-host is still thirteen lines), the cheap proof
that needs no pixels (sensor_health.touch is `unknown` on the phone and
has never been anything else), the missing test client, and the DRM
master risk on a daily driver.
Also: the `vanguard` ssh entry on the phone has the wrong user, which
presents as a key failure.
TASK-43 gains the §Scene composition design settled 2026-07-30: the
texture/content wall, pose (geometry, the agent's) and expose (legibility,
gate-veiled) as authority-split verbs, the selection surface as a scene element
not a layer surface, and the primary-selection/data-control source now wired
(234a631) with its owed refinements named.
TASK-18: the selection chip's Hyprland surface layer is terminal (the tap bug
is layer-shell); its backends are portable. TASK-30: viewtop's wire table is one
of its surfaces, grown by pose/expose. TASK-17: the OSK z-order this task fought
is structurally enforced under viewtop.
13 (grip) and 35 (sessiond deadlock) are done; both moved to archive/ with
closing notes. Index regrouped by state with a one-line what's-left per task
instead of a flat table of history; the archive prose moved to archive/README.
Corrected stale statuses: 29 shipped (read-only pending polkit), 31's component
and squeeze are live and only its contents are open, 42's layer 1 is built, 34
no longer blocks grip, 43 was numbered 42.
New: 44 fingerprint (DT + shim sat unused in staging/ since 07-07), 45 haptics
(settle which chip drives the motor before porting cs40l2x), 46 camera (drivers
and CAMSS are already in-tree; blueline's DT has no camera node).
